This is great advice for those wishing to win money in gambling. You can do as much conjure work as you want to win the jackpot in the lottery or to win large sums of money but as long as you are subconsciously operating under the belief that money is evil or with preconceived notions of how you are going to get your money, then you will most likely fail. You would be creating a "tug-o-war" scenario in which you possess contrary desires. Also, the more specific you are the longer it usually takes for it to manifest.
