Hypocritical Christians around the nation are rushing to support Kim Davis, the Rowan County, Kentucky, clerk who has refused to issue marriage licenses because she disagrees with gay marriage on religious grounds.
Davis claims God is opposed to gay marriage and that gay marriage threatens the sanctity of traditional marriage. She believes this yet fails to realize that a traditional, Biblical marriage is comprised of the following;
-Having multiple wives
-Marrying a girl as young as 12 years old or a girl who has had her period
-Having concubines (Concubines are live-in prostitutes that a husband can have sex with and who have to obey their "husband" as master but who have none of the rights of a wife.)
-Husbands having the ability to have sex with a slave in order to conceive a child if the wife can not conceive.
-If a man rapes a woman according to the Bible he must take her as a wife.
-Marriage done not out of love or even free choice, but rather to serve political or social purposes. The majority of people married in Biblical times had arranged marriages.
On top of this, Davis is a hypocrite of the highest order. Not only has she divorced and married again multiple times, something which Jesus condemns and claims is adultery, but she also has given birth to children out of wedlock. It seems when it comes to her own sexual sins that Davis feels that such is perfectly fine with God because she's "straight". She is but one of countless, fake, hypocritical Christians that believe that God doesn't care if you act a big whore as long as you aren't messing with the homo stuff.
So Davis has been jailed for her refusal to do her job. She continues to project the same, tired lies that she is the one being persecuted because she is a Christian. These are the same types of people that fought against interracial marriages, mind you. They used the exact same arguments, that God wanted the races separate and that if you argue with them you are somehow attacking Christianity instead of standing up to bigoted, racist, hate-filled people, which they truly are.
Right now, Christian leaders and many key Republican figures are coming to her aid and are comparing Davis to the biblical Daniel, the "lion's den" one. They believe that God will rescue her from this "onslaught" of Christian persecution the same way that God rescued Daniel. There is only one small problem with this comparison. The biblical Daniel was almost assuredly gay. Not only was he likely a homosexual but he was also a eunuch, a man who has been castrated. In his case, being a royal servant and having his boss be "the prince of eunuchs", is almost assuredly an admittance that Daniel himself was a eunuch.

The phrase "tender love" in the Hebrew actually means "physical love". One can not escape the conclusion that Daniel and the prince of eunuchs, who's name was Ashpenaz, were gay lovers. Not only were they gay lovers, but the verse clearly states that it was God, not Satan, that put this same-sex love into Ashpenaz so that Daniel would be protected.
Daniel is not the only homosexual in the bible. Kind David had a homosexual relationship with Jonathon. Jonathon went as far as getting naked in front of David while professing his love for him. The pair swore oaths to each other that are remarkably similar to what we now consider marriage to be. The two also wept together and kissed a lot. When Jonathon was killed David gave his eulogy and said that his love for Jonathon was greater than his love for any woman. If David and Jonathon lived in modern times nobody would hesitate in thinking that they were lovers. The relationship between Ruth and Naomi also reeks of a lesbian relationship. The relationship between the pair was so tight that Ruth swears that she will go wherever Naomi goes, even convert to her religion, as long as she can remain with her. The wording in the passages is the same wording used in Genesis where it states that a man will cling to his wife and the two shall become one. That's how strong this "friendship" was.
People need to wake up to the fact that fundamentalist Christianity is just as much an enemy to the survival and progression of the human species as is any fanatical terrorist group. When they can't get their way and aren't allowed to torture, harass, and oppress a minority fundamentalists Christians immediately claim they are the victims. Well, Mrs. Davis, if you are so offended by gay marriage then the proper thing for you to do is resign. Yet you won't do that, will you. No. You have to get your glory and like a good hypocrite you must go down as a martyr so you can get all the fame and attention from other fake, hypocrite Christians. Keep it up, Davis. I'm sure if you play your cards right you will end up a millionaire like that other fake, hypocritical Pizzeria owner who raised a million dollars on gofundme.com after making blatant homophobic statements and threats of never catering to a gay wedding, even though not one single gay couple ever asked them to.
Marriage is not sacred. Half of all marriages end in divorce. God never decrees marriage in the Bible. There is not even a single definition of what marriage is in the Bible. It's because God didn't invent it. Marriage is a human, socio-political contract. The only "marriage" that God recognizes is sexual intercourse. Otherwise, God would have commanded Adam and Eve to sign pieces of paper and go through an absurd ritual.

The only form of Christianity that has any place in the future is liberal Christianity. Any form of fundamentalism must be pushed back against and ridiculed for it's hatred, it's bigotry, it's hypocrisy and it's breeding of violence and oppression.
