Q&A - May 17, 2016 - Gastric Sleeve Edition

So since my last blog entry I've received numerous questions from readers who are interested in learning more about the gastric sleeve surgery and what it all entails. So let me answer some specific questions I have received as well as give some information.

Question:

"Can you go over the process of what you went through for the surgery?"

Answer:

Sure. Let me break it down in a simplified form.

1. I spent a great deal of time researching bariatric surgery to see if it was right for me and which one I should get.

2. Once I decided on the gastric sleeve surgery I tried getting it in my local area. However, since I did not have insurance the self-pay option was going to be around $20,000.00. For a while I contemplated saving it up and figured it would take me about 3 years or so to do it. However, as part of my research I was made aware that the surgery could be performed in Mexico for a fraction of the cost.

3. I researched the surgery in Mexico. I finally decided that going to Mexico would be my best option. I picked a website and surgeon. I began saving the $4,500 needed for the surgery and $800 more to have my gall bladder removed at the same time. I also had to pay for 2 first class flights to San Diego as well.

4. I saved up a total of about $8,000.00, just to be safe. I then booked the surgery and bought my plane tickets.

5. I arrived in San Diego and was met by a driver who then took me across the border. I spent the night at a very nice hotel in Tijuana and the had my surgery the next day.

6. My surgery was done as an out-patient in a clinic. I stayed in the clinic for two days. Day three after surgery I went home.

Question:

"Why did you have your gallbladder removed?"

Answer: 

A side-effect of losing a large amount of weight quickly is the development of gallstones. Gallstones are extremely painful. In the past surgeons in the U.S. automatically removed the gall bladder at the time of surgery. Today surgeons usually prescribe medication to prevent the formation of gallstones. Since I didn't want the extra charge of having to pay for a prescription, since the gallbladder is not necessary for survival, and since I had already been diagnosed with gallstones, I decided to just have mine removed at the time of surgery.

Question:

"Did you have to go on a special diet before surgery?"

Answer:

Yes. Most patients have to go on what is called a pre-op diet. A minority of surgeons do not require such. The normal pre-op diet is 2 weeks in length and consists of mostly liquids. It's purpose is to shrink the liver, as most obese people suffer from fatty liver disease, and to produce a safer surgery. During the surgery an enlarged liver can prove problematic and is easily damaged.

Question:

"How would you rank the pain of the surgery?"

Answer:

On as scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being the lowest and 10 being the highest, it was about 3. It was a breeze. It just felt like I was punched in the stomach. The most painful part was the removal of the drain but that pain only lasted a few seconds.

Question:

"How are you able to get in all of your required liquids and protein amounts?"

Answer:

Easy. You constantly sip all day. I carried a bottle of water with me everywhere I went and constantly sipped, talking a sip every few minutes. For protein, I drank protein shakes. You need about 60-80 grams of protein a day and 2 protein shakes give you 60 grams as well as also count for your liquid totals as well. Just so you know, eventually you will be able to drink as normal. I can down a whole bottle of water at one time now if I so chose. The sipping is only in effect in the first few months after surgery.

Question:

"What is your diet post surgery?"

Answer:

Immediately after surgery you will be on a week of clear liquids, followed by a week of full liquids, followed by a week of pureed food, followed by a week of soft foods, followed by normal food. When you get to normal food your emphasis should be on protein first and then non-starchy vegetables. It should be very low carbs.

Question:

"How much do you eat in one sitting?"

Answer:

About 2-3 ounces at first. With time you will begin eating more as the inflammation from the surgery goes away. I can eat about a cup of food now. Right after surgery I had saved some plastic pudding cups and washed them and used them for my food as they held pretty much the amount of food I was able to eat. You are able to eat more of food that breaks down easy and less of denser foods.

Question:

"What happens if you eat too much?"

Answer:

You throw up. However, it's not like how you threw up before surgery. Since your stomach is now so small it's more like baby throw up. It is painful though. Yes, I've thrown up numerous times. It takes time to learn when to stop eating. It's been a long time now since I overate so I haven't thrown up in a long time.

Question:

"How do you know when to stop eating?"

Answer:

You begin to feel a restriction in your stomach, your stomach getting full. It's subtle at first and with time you learn to stop there. You can continue past this and you will get a not-so-subtle feeling that is your last warning to stop eating. If you eat past this last signal then you develop pain and throw up.

Question:

"How do you distinguish between "head hunger" and "real hunger"?

Answer:

Head hunger comes from cues to eat from your environment and usually is geared toward a specific item. Real hunger stems from cues within your body and any food can satiate it.

Question:

"How often do you eat a day?"

Answer:

Three times plus an occasional snack. My doctor warned me against the notion that people have that they are supposed to eat multiple times a day as he believed this defeats the purpose of the surgery. Some people even go as far as eating every couple of hours. These people tend to lose considerably less weight in the long run, in my opinion.

Question:

"How much can I lose if I got the surgery?"

Answer:

It's up to you. The surgery is just a tool. If you rely on it alone to do all the work then you are not going to lose the amounts of weight that patients who use it correctly will. The average is 60% of excess weight but this figure includes all those patients who did not use the surgery correctly or who were not dedicated to the program and their goals.

Question: 

"I heard that most people who get the surgery will eventually regain the weight. Is that true?"

Answer:

Patients who are not dedicated can cheat the system. For example, if they don't follow the low carb diet and do not focus on protein first then they can gain weight. If they go back to eating junk they will gain weight. Additionally, there are what is called "slider foods", which are foods that break down really fast and do not produce the necessary restriction in the stomach. Examples of slider foods include: chips, crackers, pretzels, popcorn, nuts, ice cream, milkshakes, pudding, and alcohol. If you consume too many slider foods you will gain weight. There is one slider food that is actually good for you, salad. I can eat a ton of salad without feeling restriction. For example, I regularly get salads from Subway and I can now eat the entire bowl in one sitting.

Question:

"What do you do about holidays?"

Answer:

Easy. I allow myself to eat all the holiday foods I desire. However, keep in mind that a holiday is only one day. Problems arise when people confuse the holiday season with the actual holiday. If you are going to eat some candy on Halloween, then only do so on Halloween and not the entire month of October. The same for Christmas, Thanksgiving, and the rest of the holidays. I only allow myself to eat ice cream and cake on birthdays. The rest of the year I do not eat sweets.

Question:

"How do you handle eating out at restaurants?"

Answer:

You must come to accept that you are going to waste a lot of food. Most of us were raised to clean our plates but after surgery you simply aren't able to do that anymore. You will get sick to death of left-overs so eventually you will reach the point where you don't give a damn that you are wasting so much food. Your waiter/waitress will think there is something wrong and you will constantly be asked if there is something wrong with the food. It gets tiresome but I just smile and say the food is fantastic. I often go out to eat with my friend who likes to take my left-overs home with her for her or her mom to eat later so that helps as well. If you want you can also ask if you can order stuff on the children's menu but honestly you will get tired of doing that as well.

Question:

"Is it true that you can stretch out your new stomach?"

Answer:

No. The stomach does not regenerate or grow back. The stomach does stretch but when you remove 80% of it there is no way in hell it could ever go back to being what it was before. What does happen is that some patients abuse their bodies and purposefully overeat with time until they reach the point where they can tolerate more food without throwing up. However, this can be reversed by going on what is called a 5 day pouch test which resets the restriction.

Question:

"Does the surgery produce malnutrition?"

Answer:

No. In the gastric sleeve there is no re-routing of the intestines so there is no issue of malnutrition as there is in other types of surgery, such as the gastric bypass. You also don't need special vitamins either and there is no problems with absorbing medication.

Question:

"What can be done to prevent excess skin?"

Answer:

Nothing. You abused your body and stretched your skin out. A deflated balloon can never go back to being what it was before it was blown up. The same with skin. However, there is an answer. It's called plastic surgery.

Question:

"What are the major side-effects of the surgery?"

Answer:

1. Being cold all the time at first. For the first 8 months I was constantly cold. The summer of 2015 I wore sweaters and long sleeves shirts as well as used a personal heater to stay warm. Eventually this will pass.

2. Not being able to sit comfortably for long periods. My ass fell off and is now bony as hell. I can even feel my tailbone when I sit down. So I have no padding.

3. Hair shedding. The stress of losing weight causes your hair to shed. You will not go bald but your hair will thin out. When your weight stabilizes it will grow back. Despite what people claim there is nothing you can do to stop it.

4. Excess skin. As noted above, it can't be prevented. Genetics and how heavy you were determine how much you will have. You don't have to live with it the rest of your life and can have plastic surgery to remove it.

5. BM changes. For the first three months I had constant diarrhea. This was followed by months of constipation. No biggie. I just took laxatives. Eventually things will settle down to normal. Be prepared for accidents just in case.

6. Your farts will be horrible. Since you are consuming mostly protein your farts will smell like you have the grim reaper up your butt. They are terrible! You will be so embarrassed. Also, for some reason they will be very loud. I guess the fat muffled the sound but I am still shocked by how loud mine are now.

7. Gallstones. Losing a large amount of weight quickly can cause gallstones. They are painful. To avoid them you can have your gallbladder removed as you do not need it to survive or you can take prescription medicine to prevent them from forming.

8. Body Dismorphia. Most people who lose a great deal of weight suffer temporarily from the inability to properly perceive their new body. When they look in the mirror they still see the same old fat person. I too suffer from this and I'm told that eventually your brain will begin to process the new information and you will eventually get over it.

Question:

"How bad are the scars from the surgery?"

Answer:

Not bad at all. The incisions are less than an inch, 5 in total. I have to hunt hard to find them.

Question:

"I'm a vegetarian and was wondering if the surgery would be right for me?"

Answer:

I've encountered a few vegetarians who were successful with the surgery. However, vegans are another issue. I've known only 2 who had the surgery and they were both failures as they were unable to consume the necessary protein and ate far too much carbs.

Question:

"Did you require someone to help take care of you when you got home and how soon can you go back to work?"

Answer:

No. I could shower and use the restroom as normal immediately after surgery. No catheters were used. You likely can return to work after a few day to a week as long as there is no heavy lifting.

Q&A - May 8, 2016

Question:

 "I no longer want to work with Santa Muerte. How do I dispose of her statue and items? I still need to keep my promises I made to her for past situations."

Answer:

This can be a sticky situation. Make sure to give her what you promised for her help. Now, if one of the vows you made was to serve her for life for her help then there's really no way around that. If you attempted to discard her after making such promise you would be breaking your vow and you may suffer from that. If you did not make such a promise then you can talk to her and thank her for her work. You can tell her you will find a good home for her and then give her statue and items to someone who wishes to work with her. You may even ask her to send such person to you. If this fails, you can take her statue and items to a deserted crossroads and leave them there or take them to a forest and leave them at the foot of a tree. Leave another offering to her, thank her again, and then walk away without looking back. Another thing you might try is to give the items to someone who already has an altar to her. The one thing you need to realize is that what I have told you are just suggestions. Whether or not she becomes offended by your actions is out of my control. It's very important not to enter into these things lightly. You may chose to have a reading to determine the proper way to handle this.

Question:

"Why can't I come see you in person?"

Answer:

As a general rule I do not let new clients come to my home. This stems from numerous negative experiences I had when first starting out as a professional circa 20+ years ago. Back then, I operated out of my apartment and I got clients by word of mouth. Past clients would tell their friends or even strangers about me. It was that last category of people that ended up causing problems. I had several experiences with mentally ill people who would knock on my door or blow up my phone in the middle of the night. These were people that my clients did not know but just casually gave my address or phone number to. There were a couple of cases where I had to call the police. I don't want to get into it here but I was generally frightened for my safety. As a result of this mess I made my clients know that they can only give my contact info out to people they can personally vouch for. I told them I preferred they be the go between and tell me about said person before I decided if I was going to see them in person. When I began working online it provided a safer experience. I still get the occasional mentally ill person who tries to cause problems but it still is just a safer method. I don't have to come home to find strangers camped out outside my door, porch or property. Yes, I've experienced that in the past! To make a long story short, I do not let new clients who I don't know see me in person. Now, in time, and once we become familiar with each other, I may allow my long time clients to see me in person after we reach the point where we trust each other. Besides, most of the people who contact me online do not live in my area and so it would not be in there best interest to pay to travel to see me. Distance is no concern when it comes to conjure work or magic in general. Consultations and readings can be done over the phone or via email.

Question:

Why do you say death spells are difficult? I think that's b.s. If you use low magic for death spells then it should not be harder than any other spell. 

Answer:

Question:

I burned a candle and was wondering if you can interpret the burn for me? 

Another Similar Question:

I purchased a candle light setting with another spell caster and I did not agree with what the woman told me about her interpretation of the burn. Can you give me your opinions on it? 

Answer:

As a general rule I only interpret candles that I have personally set for my paying clients. I do not read the burn from candles people do for themselves or the setting of lights that people have purchased from other workers.

Question:

Is there a spell that can help prevent my nephew from entering into the gay lifestyle? He's only 19 and I fear for him. 

Answer: 

My readers may think I will blow up over this question. However, I actually understand where the person who asked this question is coming from. My guess is that this person is not against the fact that her nephew is gay, but rather, does not want him to get caught up in the typical gay lifestyle, especially referring to gay 20-somethings. The question is valid and reasonable to ask. For those who simply do not know, the typical gay lifestyle of 20-somethings is completely horrible. They are extremely, talking EXTREMELY, promiscuous (the term "fuck boy"). They party way too much, hence the phrase "gay party boy". They over indulge in drugs and alcohol, very materialistic, shallow and self-centered. Many of them die of ODs. Many of them will kill themselves before they become fully functioning adults. Most of them confuse "gay pride" with promiscuity and very bad behavior. So I fully understand why a loved one doesn't want their nephew to get caught up in this lifestyle. Remember, being gay is not a choice. But living this lifestyle is a choice. They don't have to live this way. They chose to live this way. Fortunately, those who survive into their 30s and 40s tend to mellow out and mature. As far as conjure work goes, think along the lines of blessing work, protection work, and influence and domination work. If your nephew is already showing signs that he is slipping into this lifestyle the you need to act fast. If you have access to his phone then check for apps such as Grindr and Scruff, which are advertised as "same sex dating apps" but are actually used for quick sex. Check the gay bars, clubs, and gay friendly establishments he may want to go to. The classy, high-up ones are fine. It's the seedy ones that should make you worry. If he is already forming attachments to negative people and there is evidence of drug use then you should do break up or separation work to sever those relationships. Pray, pray and pray some more! Remember though that he ultimately has to have the freedom to make his own choices, even if he chooses poorly. Good luck!

Q&A - March 1, 2016

Question:

"Why did you turn my case down? Did I do or say something that offended you?"

Answer:

I turn down cases for a variety of reasons. Sometimes people want things that just are not reasonable or possible. Sometimes I get requests from people who are mentally ill (You would be shocked just how many people tell me that they will kill themselves if they don't get what they want. I definitely do not take on those cases!). Sometimes what people want is technically doable but I know they aren't willing to pay the amount that I would require in order to perform the work. Sometimes I am simply too busy to take on a case. Sometimes the case is just way too difficult. Sometimes I morally object to what the client is wanting. Sometimes the would-be-client is rude with me. Sometimes I am sick and can't take on a case. Sometimes the would-be-client wants me to jump through a hoop or prove myself to them. Sometimes the would-be-client asks me hundreds of questions and emails spaced out over days to weeks and in one case, even months, until I finally put my foot down and turn them down rather than waste any more of my time on said person. Sometimes I just know there is no hope for the situation. What I'm getting at is that there is not just one reason why I turn down a case. It depends. I usually do not explain myself but rather just politely turn down the case. So if you know you weren't rude with me then you probably shouldn't assume that I was offended. There's plenty of other reasons why I would turn down a case. In your particular case, you asked me dozens of questions over several weeks. You and I both know you can't afford to hire me based on our conversation. You actually told me in the second or third email that you don't have a job and couldn't afford me but you kept on asking questions anyway, which took up my time. Thus, it would be a waste of my time to continue answering your questions. So I politely turned down your case. I could have been rude to you and I could have been blunt with you. However, I chose to be polite with you to let you know that I wasn't going to answer anymore of your questions.


Question:

"What is the most difficult work to perform in hoodoo?"

Answer: 

From my experience, conjure work on alcoholics and drug users is extremely difficult mostly because these people know what they are doing and just don't care. The addiction has completely taken over. In the cases where I've seen success it was achieved by crossing them up first so that they hit rock bottom and then cleansing and blessing them. However, many of these individuals really want to die and it's an uphill battle to try to fight for their life when they don't want it. Certain types of court cases and legal work is a close second. Unfortunately, most people in need of court case work tend to wait until the very last minute and often expect free work at that. It just ain't so.


Question:

"Will you light a free candle for me every week until I achieve my goal or this situation is settled?"

Answer:

No. Only one free candle setting per emergency situation. If you want a candle set every week then you will need to purchase a paid candle setting. I charge $30 per candle. For some reason I have gotten a lot of these requests in February. I received another one today as well. Just a reminder, free candle settings are for emergency situations only. Any requests for non-emergency situations will be ignored.


Question:

"Do you do a lot of negative work for people? If so, how does it make you feel? How does it effect you?"

Answer:

Yes, I do. I do a lot of enemy work for clients. I have to cleanse myself after each work. If I didn't do that then my life would definitely be negatively effected by the work. Lucky for me I have a passion for justice and I know that for many people enemy work is the only justice they will ever get in this life. So I really do enjoy the work and I'm good at it. ;)

"I need a recipe for goofer dust. Thanks in advance."

Answer:

I never offered to give you a free recipe. Thank you for understanding.


Question:

"Can you share the different Bible verses you work with? I'm interested in using Bible verses for various situation, especially money, love and to help defeat my enemies."

Answer:

Yep. I actually planned on blogging a series on Bible verses I use in my work. People have no clue just what is found in the Bible. There are verses and even entire chapters for just about anything you need help with. Lots of very harsh work there to use against your enemies as well.

Question:

"I'm being attacked by a blue demon that comes into my room at night and tortures me. What is the name of this spirit and how do I master it?"

Answer:

I'm not sure what you mean by "mastering it", but if you are being spiritually attacked at night there are a variety of things you can do to protect yourself. A simple method would be to open a bible to a protective Psalm, such as Psalm 91 which mentions "the terror by night". Place an open pair of scissors on top of the Bible and then place everything under your bed. I would not recommend you attempt to communicate with any negative spirit or try to "master it".

Happy Valentine's Day And Q&A - February 14, 2016

So today is Valentine's Day, the day celebrating romantic love. I always loved this holiday. As a kid I would marvel and look at awe at all the pretty foil heart and lace decorations as well as the vintage cupid ones. I really enjoyed the sweets. Chocolate is always great for today but let's not overlook all the fantastic cookies and cupcakes! lol (I'm not supposed to have any after my surgery but I'm hoping that my reader get their fill for me!)

I also found out that I have a secret admirer. I received a box in the mail yesterday with no name or return address. Inside was pretty red and pink tissue paper with red, pink and white heart confetti covering a heart-shaped box of chocolates, some Valentine's peeps candy, and a bag of organic chocolate peanut butter cups. It made my day. So, secret admirer, whoever you are, thank you! I had one of each and gave the rest away to friends and family. I guess my secret admirer wasn't aware of my surgery but it's the thought that counts and it was truly a nice gift. 

Now, on to Q&A.

Q: 

"Can you make a straight man gay?"

A:

No. However, you can seduce and have sex with a straight man. If you play your cards right you can have a sexual relationship with that man that may last for some time.

Q: (Same person) 

"If you can get a straight man to have sex with you then why can't you turn him gay?

A:

You can get a straight man to have sex with you because there is no such thing as 100% straight or 100% gay. Sexuality is a spectrum. The majority of people fall somewhere in the "bi" category, even if they are just bi-curious. And that's whether or not they decide to act on it. You see, a lot of men find certain, key word certain, other men attractive. They may chose not to act on their attraction and may think that by denying their attraction or choosing not to act on it that this means they remain straight. However, as long as that attraction is there then you can seduce them. I don't know about women, but for men, I've read that about 40% of men admit in anonymous sexuality surveys that they've experimented with other guys, usually as teens or in college. Most of these men will go on to identify as straight. Many of them who enjoyed their same-sex experimentation may continue to do so. Then there are those who are curious and who never experimented in the past but still have that desire to. All you need to do is be able to identify the body language of attraction. If you can sense that this straight man is attracted to you then he probably is. Where there's attraction there's the potential for sexual expression. Since conjure work can and is used to bring about sexual expression between folks, then it can be used in this situation. The current trend among young people is label themselves as "mostly straight" or "mostly gay". I actually met a young man not too long ago that identified as "mostly gay". He said he usually prefers men but every now and then will meet a woman that he falls hard for. So go figure. 

Q:

"I need your help with this situation. If a woman curses an evil woman and then that woman curses her back and then later dies, can the curse be removed? The woman knows the evil woman cursed her because her spirit came to her in a dream."

A: 

The traditional belief is that once a person who did the curse/jinx/crossing/hex/magical attack, whatever, is dead then either the curse can't be removed or it is extremely difficult to remove. I've encountered such scenarios with clients in the past. It's a very difficult, time-consuming and power-draining situation that usually required multiple efforts made and can be quite costly. In fact, most people who are involved in such situations really don't want to pay what is required to have it removed. They don't understand the seriousness of the situation and think that paying $30 for a candle will solve the matter or even worse, think that they have the power to take care of it themselves. Unfortunately, most of these people spend the rest of their lives being cursed.

Q & A - February 4, 2016

Question:

"Does Pre-World War 1 Hoodoo still do animal sacrifices or not? Just curious, because you said, "it evolves out of Plantation Hoodoo".

Answer:

Plantation hoodoo is long extinct. There are a few individuals online who claim to practice "plantation hoodoo" but in reality these individuals are initiated into various African Traditional Religions and are merely pulling info and practices from such and then claiming that they are practicing "plantation hoodoo".

Animal sacrifice has always been a part of hoodoo from the very beginning unto today. There are four types of animal sacrifice. The four types are:

1. Animals which are sacrifice to feed a deity or spirit. The deity or spirit feeds off of the blood or life force of the animal.

2. Animals which are sacrificed in order to take off evil or sickness from a person.

3. Animals which are sacrificed in order to obtain parts of their body to be used as ingredients in spells or workings. These animals may or may not be tortured before being killed.

4. Animals which are tortured and killed as part of enemy work or actual witchcraft.

Numbers 2-4 have always been part of hoodoo. Today, we frown on the torture and killing of animals for spells but traditionally this is a part of hoodoo. Reference:

Bat's heart for gambling and love
Frogs and/or frog bones for gambling work and drawing back a lover
Boiling a black cat to obtain it's magic bone for invisibility, gambling luck and to return a lover
Killing, parching and powdering insects, snakes and lizards to use to put "live things" in people
Killing snails, insects, lizards and reptiles for use in powders, such as "goofer dust"
Killing, using or even ingesting ants in various workings
Killing and using various organs of animals for cures or workings (Hyatt recorded spells using fish, eels, dogs, etc.)

You may remember a few years back where Dr. Kioni tortured and burned alive a rooster as part of an enemy work for a client. The entire online hoodoo community came together, at the instigation of Cat Yronwode, even though what he did is actually something that would have happened all the time in the past. Does that mean I support animal torture and sacrifice? No, it does not. I will not harm an animal. I have a pact with little creatures, especially biting and stinging ones. I will not harm them and they will not harm me. To date I have never been stung by a wasp or bee, have never been bit by a spider, have never been stung by a scorpion, never been bitten by a snake, etc., and in return I do not harm them. The only animals I kill are those animals that attack me first, such as mosquitoes. I will even go as far as giving three warnings to roaches and mice before I lay out traps. I will talk to them three times and tell them that on such-and-such day I will set out traps (or spraying with regards to roaches) and that if they do not want to get caught and die in a trap that they must immediately take up their offspring and leave. Therefore, those that remain and end up trapped and die do so by their own fault/choosing. Otherwise, if other creatures find their way into my home I scoop them up and take them back outside, unharmed. Now, I will use the parts of already deceased animals and insects in my works. If I didn't kill the animal or instigate it's death then no-harm, no-foul.

Question:

"Do you think it's common for a conjure worker to have a "conjure ring"? Or wearing a "conjure ring" isn't as common for a conjure worker in real life?"

Answer:

The wearing of magical rings, especially ones with seals, is primarily found among European and Judeo-Christian ceremonial magic practitioners. The only example that I know of a conjure man wearing a specific magic ring is The Black Constable, a.k.a. John Domingo. He possessed a silver ring in the form of a serpent with ruby eyes that he claimed was made in the Congo. It was said the ring gave him the power to command the spirits. Just an FYI, the Black Constable's ring disappeared upon his death and may in fact still be out there somewhere.

Q&A - January 30, 2016

Question:

"Why do you promote the use of oils that do not contain any real herbs? In my book that makes you a fraud."

Answer:

I do not promote the use of any commercially bought spiritual oils, period. This is regardless if the oils are made with real herbs or roots or not. You don't need any commercially bought spiritual products to perform conjure work. Also, and I've stated this before, if you are incorporating roots and herbs into your work then you don't need to have them in your oils. Let me give you an example.

Say I am dead broke and all I have is a bottle of 7 Sisters Money Drawing Oil and I need to do some money work. I have a green candle. So I fix that candle and then raid my kitchen cabinets and find that I have allspice powder, cinnamon and brown sugar. So I roll the candle in that mixture after I dress it with the oil. I don't need to have roots and herbs in the oil as I am rolling the candle in this mixture. The same thing goes when you do bowl work or jar work or any work that you may do when you use real items. If you are using real items in your work then you don't need them in the bottle of oil. But you don't need the commercially bought oil either. You could just as easily use olive oil or whatever oil you have at home.

Question:

"I'm all out of Pay Me Oil and I really need to do a spell to make my sister-in-law pay me back the money I lent her so she could pay her rent and not be evicted. I'm now in the same boat and need that money bad."

Answer:

If you are going to use spiritual oils and don't have Pay Me Oil then you can substitute with Compelling Oil. You can also do a mixture of Compelling Oil and Money Drawing Oil. Otherwise, use whatever you have at your home, such as; olive oil, vegetable oil, sunflower oil, corn oil, peanut oil, mineral oil, crisco, butter, vaseline, etc. If you have absolutely none of these then you might remember my blog entry where I pass on what I was taught by one of my teachers, which is to use your saliva. If you are dressing a candle with your saliva then give the wick time to dry a bit before lighting it. Saliva has dominating qualities so it would work well with your situation.

Question:

"What spirit do you work with when you do reversing spells?"

Answer:

If I am working with a spirit for reversing work, and I don't always work with spirits for everything I do, then I normally work with St. Michael as he is well known for protection and reversing work. There are other spirits that can do the job as well but he is the number one guy.

"I read your blog. You sound like you know what you are talking about. So if you could reply back as soon as possible with a powerful death spell I can use against this bitch that had sex with my husband I would greatly appreciate it. "Do you sell kits?"

Answer:

Yes. However, the kits I sell are only made available for purchase to my clients who wish to do something on their end while I am performing the work they hired me for. The cost is $100 for the kit plus the cost of the work I am hired for.

"Why don't you sell your own line of oils?"

Answer:

Because there's no money to be made in it. It's not worth my time or energy. I would have to charge like $20 a bottle to make it worth my while and customers are not going to buy a $20 bottle of oil. When people buy oils they usually do not buy a huge quantity at a time. They usually buy one oil at a time or a few oils at most. So I would have to go to the lengths of securing the items, making the oils, shipping them out, and if I charged what most sellers charge then I would only make about $1-$2 profit per bottle of oil. That's why it's not worth it. Therefore, I only use the oils I make for my own personal workings and for my paying clients.

Question:

"I'm looking for a real spell caster. Can you put me in touch with one?"

Answer:

Yeah, I'm definitely fake. Let me connect you to a real one. I'm so fucking sick of these emails. If you read my blog then there should be no reason why you can't comprehend that I'm a worker or "spell caster". I get dozens of these emails a month from idiots. And I say idiots because if you respond nicely to them and let them know that you are a worker and ask them if they require help with their situation they either never reply back or they are only looking for a freebie and give you a sob story as to why they deserve free conjure work for their non-emergency situation. They also go into rants about if a worker or "spell caster" refuses to help them for free then they must be fake. If your situation is a real emergency I can help you. However, 99% of the time these idiots who beg for free work want workers to bring their man/woman back, to win the lottery, or to do enemy work against someone for free, and with the full expectation that we are required to help them for free and that only the fakes charge or require donation for their services.

This is why workers or "spell casters" charge or accept donations. There must be an exchange. Even Jesus himself didn't work for free. He received donations. Why do you think he had a man (Judas) who handled the money? Jesus and the disciples received payment and donations of money, gifts, food, clothing and shelter for their work.

Free conjure work is for emergency situations only. Examples of an emergency situation include:

-About to evicted
-About to be fired from your job
-About to have your children taken by the state
-Under immediate threat of bodily harm

Examples of non-emergency situations include:

-Bring back your man/woman
-Get a promotion at work
-Gambling work
-Most enemy work (break-up work, crossing someone up, get someone fired, hot foot someone, etc.)

A person not having the money to hire a conjure worker does not constitute an emergency. In reality, 99% of the people who claim they can't afford to hire a conjure worker are LYING. If you work in sales one of the first things you are taught is that CUSTOMERS LIE ALL THE TIME. Sales people are trained never to accept the lie that a customer can not afford something. Because in reality, people spend hundreds to thousands of dollars on entertainment, going out to eat, vacations, gifts, clothing, and splurge items every year. When a person lies and claims they can't afford conjure work they are really saying that they don't want to sacrifice the money they would blow on these unnecessary things for conjure work. So sales people are trained to be firm and not believe the lies and at the end of the day the client will usually go right ahead and pay for it. I will be honest with people who want freebies for non-emergency situations. I tell them if they truly can't afford conjure work then they truly don't need what they are seeking. Otherwise, they would find a way to pay. You would be surprised by just how many people refuse to save up. Nobody wants to save up for anything anymore. Everything has to be immediate, as in NOW! And they think that if they don't have that amount currently available then people like myself have to lower what we charge or accept or do it for free. It just ain't so.

Question:

"I really like to read your blog. I was interested if you made a list of the color-scent connections from the Indio and Seven Sisters oils? Do you have a list from them?"

Answer:

Thank you. I have not made an official list. However, I have written numerous product reviews where I touch on the color and scent.

The 7 Sisters oils are marketed as "perfumed anointing oils", which is a fancy way of saying they are synthetic and are meant for use on the body only. They have a line of candle dressing oils which are supposed to be used for fixing candles but most people will use the perfumed anointing oils for candles instead.

In the 7 Sisters oil line all the red oils have the same fragrance, all the blue oils have the same fragrance, all the purple oils have the same fragrance, all the yellow oils have the same fragrance, all the pink oils have the same fragrance, all the orange oils have the same fragrance, all the dark green oils have the same fragrance, all the dark brown oils have the same fragrance, and all the light brown oils have the same fragrance (which is rose). The only exception is the light green oils, such as Compelling oil for example, which have zero fragrance. This boggles my mind as they are marketed as being perfumed so they should smell like something. The dark green oils smell like soap. So I'm assuming they make the light green oils by diluting the dark green oils, probably too much, which produces an oil that has no fragrance.

Indio oils are different. They use some of the same fragrances used in the 7 Sisters oils but also different ones. For example, their red oils may be split between two different fragrances. Indio's Love Me oil, which is red, has a unique scent verses the red oils used in 7 Sisters oils. The same thing with the other colors as well. So for example with Indio's yellow oils, some will smell like 7 Sisters yellow oils but others, such as Cross of Caravaca oil, will smell different. In this case Indio's Cross of Caravaca oil smells like cloves.


Questions:

"You mentioned putting herbs in the bottles of [7 Sisters] oils. Can you send me a list of what herbs to put in each bottle?"

Answer: 

No. You can put one or more pinches of roots, herbs, zoological items or minerals that are suited for the specific condition the oil is supposed to address, and then pray over it. You don't have to do this. Most people do not. However, I was one of the first people to publicly blog on doing this and I saw it spread like wildfire. Lots of people try to steal it but whatever. The same with the Anna Riva oils. I was the first person online to post about using clear tape on the labels to prevent or delay the gold label from wearing off. In fact, Wisdom Products now sells their oils with tape on them! Anyway, I digress. Just do your research and use your own combination of items.


Question:

"I recently just bought one of practically each 7 Sisters oils and am horrified to learn that they are artificial. Should I just throw them out? What oils would you recommend?"

Answer:

I wouldn't throw them out. 7 Sisters oil have been around for a very long time. People swear by them even though they are synthetic. You can still use them. You can add roots, herbs, zoological or mineral items to the bottles and pray over them. If you dress candles with them you can then roll the candles in cut or sifted herb combinations and that way you don't have to add the items to the bottles if you don't want to. If you buy them from a botanica the owners usually at least pray over them so that they are blessed. Look, I'm not going to bash them. I'm not going to sugar coat or white wash the truth either. They are synthetic. There's no real essential oils in them. However, all that really matters is if it works for you. Just the other day someone posted a comment on a blog entry I wrote over on my other blog about how they have been using 7 Sisters oils for 30 years now and that they work for him or her. I say power to him or her. If it works for you, use it. If it doesn't work for you then don't use it. Don't get trapped into thinking that you have to spend a lot of money on oils to see results. The only problems I have with 7 Sisters oils is that the red dye in the red oils is way too strong. It will stain your clothing and it looks like blood on your hands. I hate that the light green oils have no fragrance. In my book scent is power so if it smells like nothing then I don't want it. This said, I love the smell of the orange oils, like Bend Over oil and the pink oils, such as Love Drops oil, smell really nice as well. I also love the retro or vintage imagery on the labels.


Question:

"Is it okay to add more oil to 7 Sisters or Indio oils? I'm almost out of oils and I don't have money to order anymore. Can I add vegetable oil to the bottles? They are about half way or slightly more empty"

Answer:

Yes. Those oils are mineral oil based so if you have mineral oil around the house then use that. If not, use whatever you have. Just make sure to pray over the bottles. And if you are completely out of oils just pray over your bottle of vegetable oil and use that. I prefer olive oil but you can work with what you have available.


Question:

"I hate throwing away my empty oil bottles. Is there a way I can reuse them?"

Answer:

Yes. The square bottles, unless they are the ounce or larger, are too difficult to reuse as you need solvent to be able to clean them. However, the Anna Riva bottles are easy enough to clean. You can clean them and save them and reuse them as bottles for oils you create yourself or you can use them in other ways. They are really handy as containers to use when you have to sneakily deploy liquids or powders on an enemy. You can also add items to them and bury them. They are good sizes to use to place in the 4 corners of your home. The other larger bottles that oil makers use, such as Boston rounds of various sizes and colors, should definitely be cleaned and saved.

Q & A - January 7, 2016

It seems everyday I wake up and discover multiple emails from people asking questions. I'm sure they mean well but the questions asked are usually the same ones, or it's something that I've already blogged on, sometimes even multiple times.

So I decided I'm going back to just answer select questions in blog entries. From here on out I will no longer be replying personally to any one who sends me an email asking questions. If the question strikes me as a good question then I will blog on it.

Today's question is:

"Can I have a statue of St. Martha and keep an alter to her? I'm a gay male."

Answer:

Yes. However, please keep in mind that St. Martha is geared toward siding with and helping women. As a gay male you may or may not identify with women or even what you perceive St. Martha to be like. However, the truth is that you are still male.

St. Martha's primary role is to dominate men, bring them back when they stray, and whip them into shape so they can act the typical role that a husband is supposed to play. *HOWEVER*, and this is important to remember, St. Martha will gladly dominate a woman if she is not performing her typical role as a wife, especially mother. If a woman is stepping out on her man, is a dead beat, a terrible mother, is out drinking and whoring it up while the husband is forced to care for the kids then he can call upon St. Martha to dominate her and whip her into shape so that she can be the kind of mother that her children need. Even Hyatt recorded stuff like this in his material.

You see, St. Martha very much believes in traditional family roles. A husband/father is supposed to behave in a certain fashion and a wife/mother as well. She can be petitioned when people cross the line. Since traditionally there is a larger problem with good-for-nothing men, St. Martha has thus become more widely known in helping women. She will make sure he is treating his wife and kids good, that he comes back, that he gives up the money for the family, etc.

Now, St. Martha can also be petitioned to dominate one's boss regardless of one's gender. This falls into the same line that as the husband is supposed to be the head of the family the boss is supposed to be the head of the company. If the boss is bad, treats employees poorly, etc., then she can be called upon to whip him/her back into shape. St. Martha is also the patron of servants so this is easily transferred to employees in today's world. So yes, you can have her statue and keep an altar but do take the time to get to know her.

I would recommend you develop a relationship with her before you decide to purchase a statue or set up an altar. I see this all the time with newbies. They all rush out and buy all kinds of stuff. The problem is that people don't have real teachers anymore and they just read stuff online and then rush out and buy all this stuff. In reality, when you work with a spirit or saint you make the purchasing of a statue or the setting up of an altar be one of the promises you make to the saint or spirit in exchange for helping you. So for St. Martha, you could promise her that you will buy her statue if she makes your boss treat you better and pay you a decent wage, for example. Or a woman may promise to set up an altar to St. Martha if she brings her man back. That's how you go about it "correctly" vs. rushing out and buying all kinds of stuff.
